 Arivu  Education Loan Scheme

Under this scheme, Minority community students who wish to pursue technical education courses such as MBBS, MD, MS, B E, B.Tech, M. E, M.Tech, BDS ,MDS,B.Ayush, M,Ayush, MBA, MCA, LLLB, B.Arch, M.Arch will be granted a loan ranging from Rs. 50,000/-to Rs. 3,00,000/- for every year until course duration. Such student shall repay the loan with service charge of 2% after 6 months of completing the course. the annual income limit of the family under this scheme should not exceed Rs 8,00,000/- per annum.

Guidelines for  Arivu Education Loan 

1. Students who wish to obtain education loans should submit their application through KMDC online website.
2. Students are required to pay 12% of the loan issued by the corporation during the previous year when applying for renewal application, at their respective District Office. 
3. Institution / Colleges shall ensure that cast / income certificate by the Tahsildar regarding a student does belongs to a minority community and the family income limit is not exceeding Rs. 8.00 lakh per annum. 
4. The income of the student's family should not exceed Rs. 8.00 lakh per annm.
5. The loan amount to the student will be transferred directly from KMDC to the bank account of their respective college through Direct Benefit Transfer.
6. Student who are selected for Government / Privet colleges in Government Quota for MBBS / MD /  course through the karnataka Examination Authority ( CET / NEET ) will be eligible foe a maximum loan of Rs. 3.00 lakh.
7. For the student of BDS/MDS course selected by Karnataka Examination Authority (CET/NEET ) who   have been selected for Government / Private Colleges will be provide a loan to the maximum of Rs. 1,000,000/- and a maximum loan amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- will be given to the student who are selected to Government / Private Colleges in Government Quot for MD (Ayush) and Ayush  Graduation Courses.
8. For the student if Bachelor of Architecture / Engineering / Technology (BE / B. Tech ), M, Tech, M.E. courses selected through Karnataka Examination Authority (CET / NEET ) who have ben selected for Government / Private Colleges will be provide a maximum tuition fee loan of Rs. 50,000/-. 
9. In addition, tuition fee of maximum Rs. 50,000/- will be provide to the student who have opted for MBA, MCA and LLB courses. 

Eligibility   Arivu Education Loan 

(A) The student must belongs to the State Religious Minority Community.

(B) The student must be a permanent resident of the State.

(C) Annual income of the student / parents should not exceed Rs. 8,00,000/-
